Move it May – How do I track my exercise?

 

The most important thing is that you are tracking the challenge in a way that works for you. We are happy to accept a variety of different forms of proof. Below are some suggestions as to how to count your miles:

  • 1. Keep an exercise log

Keep track of your exercise by noting down each session as you have completed it. Once registered, we will send you a calendar for you to log your exercise and you can send this back to us as proof once you have completed the challenge.

  • 2. Use the Fitness Activity Box on JustGiving

Once you have set up your JustGiving fundraising page you will have access to their Fitness Activity Box. The Fitness Activity box will appear on your fundraising page and will allow you to manually add in distances as you go or connect your JustGiving page to Strava. At the end of the month just let us know in an email that you have completed the route and the proof is on your JustGiving page.

  • 3. Use a fitness app

There are lots of fitness apps that will track distances and time exercised. One app you may like to use is Strava. You can download it to your mobile phone via the App Store or Play Store. You will then be able to sign up for free and easily track distances and time (on land only) by pressing the record button. Just make sure you take your phone with you. You can then take a screenshot of your distances/time exercised to prove you have completed the challenge.

  • 4. Use a fitness tracker

If you have a smartwatch, you can use the built-in tracker to track your movement. Just take a picture of the screen with your completed distances or time exercised and email the pictures to us as proof.

 

However, you choose to track your miles, at the end of your challenge all you need to do is email fundraising@albioninthecommunity.org.uk with your proof to receive your digital certificate.
