Move It May - Albion in the Community

Get moving this May and help raise funds for Albion in the Community

Move it May challenges you to get active every day for the month of May, while helping to raise funds for Albion in the Community’s important work across Sussex.

By getting active, you will be helping us to provide opportunities for vulnerable people to be healthy and active too.

Just £50 raised could cover the cost of a football session for young people with a disability.

Taking part is simple:

  • Register and choose your daily challenge. We suggest 1 mile (10mins), 3 miles (30mins) or 5 miles (50 minutes) a day. Or if you want to challenge yourself, you can pick your own distance/time.
  • Set up your JustGiving page here. Tell everyone about your challenge and ask them to sponsor you. Every pound raised will go directly to Albion in the Community.
  • Get your Albion colours on and walk, run, swim, skate or even hop every day for the month of May. Don’t forget, 1 mile is approximately 10 minutes of exercise, so you can count activities like football, dance and yoga too.
  • Log your miles or minutes every day. You can track them on JustGiving, using a fitness app or on our Move it May calendar. See our guidance for more info.
  • Send us your proof by Monday 7 June and we will send you your digital certificate.

Entry is just £10 per person and anyone who completes the challenge and raises £50 or more will receive a limited edition Move it May wooden medal. If you raise £100 or more, as a thank you, we will also send you an ‘I smashed Move it May’ t-shirt.

Registration closes on 30 April and your activity will need to be completed by 31 May. Please make sure at all times you are following government guidance.

Good luck and get moving.

Entrants receive:

  • Digital certificate on completion.
  • Move it May wooden medal if you raise £50 or more.
  • Move it May t-shirt if you raise £100 or more.
  • Support throughout the challenge
