Albion in the Community (AITC) has been selected as the official charity of this year’s South Downs Beer and Cider Festival.

Festival picks Albion in the Community as charity for 2018 event

Albion in the Community (AITC) has been selected as the official charity of this year’s South Downs Beer and Cider Festival.

Tickets are already on sale for the event, which will take place on 22 and 23 June at Lewes Town Hall, and organisers have confirmed that AITC will be the charity benefiting from this year’s fundraising.

The festival will have a selection of nearly 90 different beers and there will also be a range of ciders and perries available, as well as hot and cold food (including vegetarian options) and soft drinks (including teas and coffees).

The festival opens on Friday lunchtime at 11am, with the morning session running until 3pm. The Friday evening session runs from 5pm until 10.30pm.

On the Saturday, the festival gets underway at 11am and closes at 8pm.

Admission is by advanced ticket only for all three sessions.
