Brighter Outlook

Welcome to Brighter Outlook - free, personalised physical activity for people living with and beyond cancer in Sussex.

If you have been diagnosed with cancer, our specialist activity coaches can help you. The Brighter Outlook programme offers free physical activity to anyone living in Sussex who has been diagnosed with cancer, to help you get more active and improve your health before, during and after treatment.

Being physically active can help you prepare for cancer treatments and help manage the side effects of treatment and support your recovery.

Our friendly coaches are cancer exercise specialists and trained in nutrition to support your wellbeing. They will help you make positive changes to your health and support you to get more active in a way that is right for you.

What do sessions involve?

We offer a ten-week group-based physical activity classes that includes indoor and outdoor circuits, seated exercise and yoga. These are fun and friendly classes and an opportunity to meet like-minded people.

We also have a running group and provide activity classes via Zoom to help you keep active at home.

If you prefer one-to-one support we offer a programme of exercises designed for you to complete independently.
