Welcome to Albion in the Community

We are the official charity of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club. Our work is driven by three key objectives: to inspire and motivate young people and their families to be physically active and to lead healthy lifestyles; to provide opportunities for young people to play football whatever their ability or background; and to work with our local community, particularly those that are disadvantaged, to help raise aspirations and improve life chances.

Areas of focus

Football

At Albion in the Community we believe that football is for everyone, regardless of their age, ability or background. From after school clubs and holiday soccer schools, to walking football and disability teams, we will have a football session for you.

Health

Our health team works across Sussex to improve the health and wellbeing of people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. Together with local authorities, the NHS and third sector partners, we run a wide range of targeted health projects and initiatives throughout the county.

Disability

The disability department at Albion in the Community has been running our award-winning disability programme since 1997. We are now the largest provider of disability football in Sussex - giving more people than ever the chance to take part in both fun and competitive sport.

Fundraising

Much of our work is only possible because of donations or people fundraising. The money we make through fundraising helps pay for our disability football programme - helping hundreds of people throughout Sussex who have a disability to play regular football - and many other projects and sessions in the local area.

Schools

More than 100 schools across Sussex benefit from working with our schools team. We use football-themed lessons to inspire young people in areas like numeracy and literacy and also provide PE support, health programmes and after school clubs.

Skills and training

We offer a range of qualifications and training programmes, helping people improve their lives and develop the tools they need to meet their potential.
